Working Structure Fire

At 20:13 hours on January 5th, our Dispatch Office notified us for a report of a structure fire at 108 Washington Heights Avenue, with the additional being the roof on fire. All 4 Chiefs were on the road and on scene within minutes of activation. upon their arrival an active fire was found to be burning and a Signal 13/35 (working fire) was requested. Engine 7-5-1 and Tower Ladder 7-5-3 were on the road simultaneously followed by Engine 7-5-2 and Rescue 7-5-5. Hampton Bays Ambulance arrived for FF Rehab and East Quogue FD was requested to standby at our HQ's with 1 engine. Southampton Town Fire Marshals were also requested to the scene. Units were up by 21:10 hours and were under the command of Chief of Dept. Rick Nydegger (7-5-30)
