At 17:51 hours on January 18th, Southampton FD request Hampton Bays FD for their Rapid Intervention Team to respond to a working fire at 19 Rosewood Court in Water Mill. Under the command of 2nd Assistant Chief Lou Stellato, Engine 7-5-1 and Fire Police 7-5-11 responded and stoodby as RIT for almost 2 hours while Southampton FD operated in the event a firefighter needed to be rescued or assisted. Members were up from the scene at 19:41 hours.
