At 20:18 hours on Wednesday 10/23, Hampton Bays FD, along with the East Quogue FD was notified of a vehicle fire on Sunrise Highway between exits 64 and 65. High winds, magnesium in the car and a full tank of gas kept firefighter from both depts on scene for over an hour.
